Day 1 — Arrival in Srinagar (Mughal Gardens & Shikara)
Meet & greet at Srinagar Airport (SXR). Transfer to hotel. Visit Mughal Gardens (Nishat + Shalimar), Pari Mahal and Chashme Shahi. Evening Shikara Ride on Dal Lake. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 2 — Sonmarg Excursion
Breakfast at hotel. Full-day excursion to Sonmarg (80 km, 2.5 hours). Enjoy Sindh River views and seasonal snow points. Optional pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier (extra cost). Return to Srinagar. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 3 — Gulmarg Excursion
Breakfast. Drive to Gulmarg (56 km, 2 hours). Gondola Ride Phase 1 to Kongdoori, optional Phase 2 to Apharwat Peak (own cost). Snow activities & sightseeing at Golf Course and Maharani Temple. Return to Srinagar. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 4 — Srinagar to Pahalgam
Breakfast. Check out and drive to Pahalgam (95 km, 2.5 hours). En route stops at Pampore saffron fields and Awantipora apple orchards. Check in at Pahalgam hotel. Evening at leisure — Lidder river walks and local cafes. Overnight in Pahalgam.
Day 5 — Pahalgam Local Sightseeing
Breakfast. Full-day Pahalgam sightseeing by union taxi (union rule): Aru Valley (pine meadow), Betaab Valley (Bollywood iconic) and Chandanwari (Amarnath yatra base). Enjoy the Lidder River. Optional trout fishing licence available for anglers. Overnight in Pahalgam.
Day 6 — Houseboat Experience on Dal Lake
Breakfast. Drive back to Srinagar (95 km). Check in to a Deluxe Houseboat on Dal or Nigeen Lake. Spend the afternoon on the shikara-ride circuit including Char Chinar, floating vegetable market fringe and lotus gardens. Sunset from the houseboat verandah is unforgettable. Traditional Kashmiri wazwan dinner (subject to plan). Overnight on Houseboat.
Day 7 — Departure
Breakfast on the houseboat. Check out. Transfer to Srinagar Airport for departure with a full week of Kashmir memories.

Is a houseboat night comfortable in winter?
Yes — Deluxe Houseboats have electric heaters, thick quilts and bukhari (traditional wood-fired heater) service on request. Some travellers prefer Nigeen Lake houseboats in winter as it's quieter and the shoreline freezes beautifully.
Should the houseboat be on Day 1 or Day 6?
We strongly recommend Day 6 (post all sightseeing). Day 1 houseboat combined with a long flight day is often overwhelming — you'll appreciate the calm much more after a week of driving.
Can I add Vaishno Devi or Ladakh to the 7 days?
